CCS: TI Cloud Agent Installer Error

Hello,

I am trying to install the TI Cloud Agent using "ticloudagent__2.exe" but while installing windows drivers the installer showed the following window:

This same window appears in the https://dev.ti.com/ site.

I am trying to run gallery demos for the TI MSP-EXP432P401R.

    José, 

    According to the related thread below, this seems to be an issue still not entirely solved:

    However, one hint from your user's name is the underscore character (jose_) - this is known to cause issues with some of our tools (xdc, gmake). 

    In the light of this, can you try to use this with an user that has only alphanumeric characters on the path?

    thank you for your answer!

    I have tried installing with another user (Only alphanumeric characters) but the same window pops up. :(

    Digging in the root directory I found "config.json" and it reffers to a path with a blank space. Changing the path in the file and the actual folder name results in Cloud agent menu in dev.ti.com crashing.

    This is the content of config.json, there may be a hint to solve this issue.

    Sorry about the delay; did you overcome this error? 

    I checked the file <config.json> installed under the directory \ti\TICloudAgent and it uses the short name versions of the directories. 

    In other words, my file reads:

    {
    "userDataRoot" : "C:\\Users\\user\\AppData\\Local\\TEXASI~1\\TICLOU~1"
    }

    Perhaps you could try to manually edit the file and modify the path?

    You can use the Windows Command Prompt to find out the DOS 8.3 names for any long name directories. Use the command dir /x
