CCS/AWR1642BOOST: CCS/

Part Number: AWR1642BOOST
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSBIOS

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

After one of the updates, i am not able to successfully build the \mmwave_automotive_toolbox_2_5_0\labs\lab0003_occupancy_detection. The build fails at the start, while trying to build the libraries.

I was able to build this up until a week ago. Than one day, i have 9 errors. I've tried reinstalling everything i've had on my PC from TI, it didn't help.

Any suggestion on what should i do?

  • Hi,

It should be possible to revert back to the previous sysbios version.

Can you please let us know what update was performed? CCS/Automotive toolbox?

    Thank you

What specifically was updated?  CCS or the tools?  If you look at the VOD demo's user guide, there are specific tool versions that should be used.  If you updated the tools, it is possible that you now have non-compatible versions of BIOS and XDC.  Right click on the project name in CCS' Project Explorer, then select Properties, then General then the Products tab.  Make sure the versions selected there are the versions specified in the user guide, then Apply and Close, then do a clean build.

  • I've had them set to the ones that are written in the User Guide. I fixed it today, with setting xdc and sysbios to the newest version, and switching to the new automotive toolbox 2.5.0.

Sadly i am not sure what was the update, i just click accept most often when CCS offers me some updates.

    Thank you for quick help,

    Aleksa
