Thanks. The thing I notice when the compiler or editor hangs is that CPU usage goes to 100% on one of the cores for about 10-15 seconds or so. Usually restarting CCS fixes it.

Thank you. I have not had any issues with that version of Ubuntu.

Can you provide your workspace logs? They should be in <WORKSPACE FOLDER>/.metadata and have have the name .log

Are you explicitly saving the perspective (Window -> Perspective -> Save Perspective As) and are you working with custom perspectives?

I am unable to reproduce this issue so far on my Ubuntu 18.04LTS machine.

Can you provide a more details regarding which views and such? For example, please provide a screenshot of when you save your custom perspective, then another screenshot of when you come back to the perspective, showing what changed. Also mention what actions you did between those two screenshots (example: "I switched to the CCS Debug perspective and opened this view, then I switched back to my customer perspective and saw that some views changed")
