  • Danbee,

Can you please attach the install log mentioned in the first dialog.  It should be in c:\ti\ccsv8\install_logs

  • 20190628125449.zipJohn,

    I attached the log file.

    Could you check the file?

    Thank you

    Danbee

  • Danbee,

It seems to be failing in attempting to extract zip files.  I will see if others have seen this before and have a solution.

  • Danbee,

I talking with our installer team on this we suspect that the zip file that the zip utility is failing to recognize as a valid zip file has gotten corrupted.

If the download of CCS itself was corrupted then we should be able to see that by looking at the MD5 checksum of the installer.

Here is a link to the checksum that we generated when the build was created MD5

That could be compared to the checksum of the file that was downloaded.  There are a bunch of free utilities that can calculate that.

If that is ok then it could be the individual zip that is getting corrupted when the CCS installer is exacted. To check that you would need to get the checksum of this file and I could extract the file and do the same here.

    C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Desktop\Collaborative_Robot\SafetyControlModule\CCS8.3.1.00004_win32\baserepo\eclipse_core_4.5.1.custom-160121.zip

If the issue is with the overall CCS installer then just downloading it again should resolve the issue.  If the issue with the file that gets exacted from the zip then we need to figure out how that is getting corrupted.

    Regards,

    John
