Issues running 6748 BIOS PSP examples with XDS100v1 and v2

Hi:

I am running into an issue running “any” BIOS program on 6748 EVM, CCS4 with XDS100v1 as well as XDS100v2. It works fine with XDS510USB.

Even with XDS100, the code seems to load fine but once loaded, all the menus are disabled in “Target” drop-down. i.e I cannot run, stop etc..

Can I conclude that for running BIOS programs, I will need to use XDS510 ?.

I saw a similar discussion here but it was somewhat non conclusive..

What exact build number of CCS are you using?

I am using 4.1.2.00027 . I believe the customer is using the latest download from ti.com (4.2 ??). I can share my session with you if it will help you debug.

Ki helped me debug the issue.

The main issue was that I had accidentally turned off my debug. Which is why my Target->Run options were disabled. I rectified this by enabling Debug via View->Debug.
