CCS: Problem with downloading of SimpleLink Examples in Resource Explorer

Hello,

I am new in using CCS. After Installation (CCS9.0.1.00004_win64) I wanted to download and install a sample program from the SDK (v:3.20.00.06).

After starting the download, a confirmation windows pops up: ... this will install undefined-v:3.20.00.06 in : c:\ti...

Then it seems to install the entire SDK (several minutes)

After that, when trying to import to IDE, a window advices me to use the install to desktop button (which I did before):

when I try to install any other example, the same procedure will be repeated. In C:\ti I can see the folder simplelink_msp432p4_sdk_3_20_00_06 correctly downloaded.

It seems the CCS loses the link to the downloaded programs after successful download (as indicated in the above shown message " ... this will install undefined-v:3.20.00.06 in : c:\ti...")

I tried to reinstall everything, but nothing changes.

Does someone have an idea?

    Klaus,

    Try clearing the board filter.  I can reproduce the issue when I have the filter set for the MSP432P401R LaunchPad but as soon as I clear the filter Resource Explorer recognizes that the package is installed.

    I have a bug filed to track that and another for the issue where the name is showing up as "undefined".
