arm target board: am-5708, processor-sdk-linux-rt5.3

With only CCS & JTAG on Windows:

Q1: How can I cross compile arm-linux executable program?

Q2: How to link arm-linux libs? (such as opencv libs ...)

Q3: How to download executable to target board?

Q4: How to launch my arm-linux-program, and watch log info?

Hi Andi,

In order to build linux you need to have a host pc running linux. You should install virtual machine running linux on your pc and build linux as described here:

How can I download executable to target board and watch log info?

When you connect your JTAG to your board, you have the option to load the generated (with CCS) .out file to a specific AM5708 core. Once loaded you can click RUN to execute your program.
CCS has a debug console, you can also connect your board's debug uart and connect to the EVM debug console to your linux pc using minicom.
