CCS/CCSTUDIO: Resource Explorer encountered a problem.

In your user folder/ti what is the version number at the end of the tirex-localserver-<version> folder?  There may be multiple, which is the highest version number?

Also could you attach the .log files from inside of tirex-localserver-<version>/logs

Tomasz Kocon after I restart Resource Explorer again and again, the problem is solved. However, this is annoying me now since I have to do it every time I want to access to resource explorer in CCS. Do you have a one time fix for this?

There is a process that is running out of memory.  One way to avoid this is to move old software packages that you don't need out of the C:\ti folder.  Especially any cc13xx or cc26xx packages as they have the biggest databases to parse.  There is a permanent fix into works but it is a couple releases away.

@John, I only install simplelink_cc13x0_sdk_3_20_00_23, simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_3_20_00_68, and simplelink_cc2640r2_sdk_3_20_00_21 on my desktop. Is this not small set enough?

Those specific SDKs are the largest packages when it comes to metadata.  

Do you mean that if I only install one of them, the issue would be solved?

Since we usually use different SDK for different Simplelink chips, this is not a feasible solution. Can we expect this issue to be fixed in next CCS release?

This issue is not fixed in the next CCS release.
