CCS/TMS320C203: DSP TMS320F206/TMS320C203 Flash/program

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi, I Need help with the DSP TMS320F206. I haven't found yet a solution how to Flash/program this device. I have got the Hardware XDS510 and also the XDS510-USB2.0 Emulator but I am not able to find a Software that supports this device. I already tried it with CC412, CCS2, CCS3, CCS4, CCS6 and CCS9. Has anyone found a solution for this in the past?

    Paul,

    TMS320F206 support actually pre-dates Code Composer Studio.  The last product that supported that was Code Composer v4.12 for 2x/5x.  I can help you obtain that via a private message. I will send a friend request.

    Note that this software is VERY old.  You are likely going to need to run it in a Windows XP 32bit VM or similar.

    Code Composer would have support for programming the RAM on the device.  For programming the flash I believe you had to use a serial boot loader.

    Paul,

        This device attained end-of-life (EOL) status way back in 2012. The entire toolchain supporting this device is now obsolete. I managed to get the attached utility from a colleague. It is provided on an "as is" basis. Please try it out.

    Paul,

        I noticed you have rejected the resolution. As explained before, this is a very old device with virtually no support. I regret I am unable to help beyond what has already been provided.
