This error is not resolved in V9 of CCS as you'd like to have us believe.

Please sort it out TI this is embarrassing.

    Hello Ian,

    I'm sorry you're having trouble. I think the issue here is with the debugger rather than CCS. According to the CCS User's Guide, Mojave is supported by CCS v9 and was validated with the supported debuggers shown below.

    Unfortunately, I couldn't find the CC430F5739 part number. Are you using the MSP-FET or the MSP-EXPCC430RFX development board? If so, please keep in mind that the eZ430 debugger is not supported by CCS v9 regardless of OS as shown above in the "Debug Probes Not Supported" section of the User's Guide.
