CCS/LAUNCHCC3220MODASF: Path to TI components - persistent

Part Number: LAUNCHCC3220MODASF

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello,

I use the code composer studio Version: 9.1.0.00010. I have not installed the SDK and the other TI specific software components in the folder c:\ti. I made the needed CCS settings and imported the additonal parts like the SDK. I did that on two computers.

On one computer I installed the TI specific components in e:\ti. When I open TiRex i can browse through the examples but I can't copy the examples into my workspace. The CCS shows me the folling dialogue again and again.

The following picture shows my settings Window -> Preferences -> Code Composer Studio -> Product. If I press the button Rediscover the CCS imports the installed components.

If I remeber correctly I also had to do this on the othert PC as well, if I changed the workspace folder.

My question: Is there a possibility to make these settings "really" persistent?

  • Hi Roman,

Your screenshots did not get posted correctly. Can you try to post them again? Also please see the below FAQ about posting images:

Yes, CCS will look in c:\ti by default. If the packages are installed in a different location, the discovery path list would have to be updated to include the new location so that CCS would know where to look when rediscovering installed components.

It should be persistent across workspaces for the same CCS installation.
