How to open an existing project?

How do you open a project located outside the work space?

I am trying to open the examples that come with CCS

You must first import the project into your workspace ('Project->Import Existing CCS/CCE Eclipse Project')

Hi Ki,

The problem is "Import an existing project" needs a project with a .out file. Why we can open a project even without a .out file as do in CCS 3.0?

A .out file is not required for importing an existing project. Are you trying to import a CCS3.3 project or a CCSv4/5 project? And what type of problem/error are you seeing?

Hello,

Please refer menu bar;

Project->Import Existing CCS project-> {just select project folder }

CCS shall take all setting automatically
