Tool/software: Code Composer Studio
Hello,
Some of our customers are finding eclipsec.exe/out missing in their CCS installations. Can you please let us know if the inclusion of that is installation-specific and any option needs to be selected to get eclipsec?
Also what is difference between these two applications?
Regards,
Prasad
Prasad,
eclipsec.exe is the console executable version of eclipse.exe on Windows, that can be used for improved command line behavior. I don't believe its inclusion can be controlled via the installer but perhaps they don't see it because they are on a different OS. For Linux and MacOS the command line invocation is a bit different, please see this page: http://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/ccs_projects-command-line.html
Hope this helps.
Hello Aarti,
Thanks for the reply.
From the link you shared, seems I have to use just eclipse on Linux and eclipsec on Windows. Don't agree on having two names for same function but can't help.
