Tool/software: Code Composer Studio
Hi,
I'm new to TI CPUs and environment and I started with workshop on TMS320F28379D and I cant get content assist working. I searched and tried many solutions and nothing is working for me.
I tried CCS versions:
I tried all on windows 7 and 9.1.0 on fresh install of windows 10 without any success.
I tried to
I also had a different computer with CCS 8.3.1 on W10 with working content assist, but I dont know whats different. I guess I'm missing something installed next to CCS, otherwise I cant explain why it dont work on 2 OS and 3 different CCS versions.
Can you help with this issue?
thanks
Alex
Ales,
Are you using an example project from C2000Ware? If so can you let me know which one and I can try to reproduce?

This is so funny. I installed MS Office today and continued with Lab 5 (part 2) in above mentioned workshop.
I just noticed that autocomplete start finally working. I have no idea how MS Office is related with this issue (Does it carry Visual Studio with it or some Java modules my computer was missing???), but after the installation of MS office autocomplete start working. But before I couldnt get anything from CCS to suggest.
That would explain that why autocomplete worked on other computer I had with working CCS 8.3.1 - it had installed MS office either.
thanks for help, hope that helps someone else too
Ales
Ales,
That is very odd. We install a JVM with CCS so that should not be impacted. We do rely on Microsoft Visual C runtime libraries but that is mainly for the debugger. Maybe the indexer is somehow dependent on it as well. Glad to hear that it is working now. Thanks for sharing the info on MS office.

John
