CCS/MSP430FR2633: MSP430 Debug Call Stack

Hello,

I am developing a project based on MSP430FR2633.

There are moments that my debugging tool stops in a "phantom" breakpoint inside the CAPT_AppSleep() function provided by Captivate Design Center.

It is called "MSP Debug Call stack".

Could you explain me, what is happening at this point and how can i solve this issue?

I am going to setup a board to try this out but I think you have a special stack overflow breakpoint set. That breakpoint condition is getting triggered and CCS is attempting to communicate why the program has halted.

Yes that is what is happening. Did you enable the stack overflow breakpoint here:

If I enable that and then overflow my stack then I see the same as you. Thus your program is halting there as you have overflowed your stack.

What actually cause stack overflow?

You can increase your stack size in the linker options of the project.

Basically you do not want these things to occur.
