CCS/CC2640R2F: CCS stuck when launch debug mode or when reaching some breakpoint

Hi folks,

My CCS is freezing when I launch the debug mode or when the debugger reach some breakpoint. After the CCS freezing is necessary force its exit and restart it.
The problem described above always occurred.

SDK version: 3_20_00_21

MAC version: 10.14.5 (18F132)

CCS version: 9.0.1.00004 .

Can anybody help me?

Hi,

I am testing a very similar environment as yours, with a stock CCSv9.0.1.00004 (no updates applied) but on OSX 10.14.6 and a macbook pro early 2015. In my case I can't really reproduce this issue at all.

Did you install any updates after installing CCS? If so, there may be a chance you are running into a side effect of the issue described at the post below:

In the meantime, I will try to "break" my system here and report back in case I find anything relevant.

I have been update the CCS to 9.1.0 version and now it works fine.
