Hello,

I'm using the UniFlash tool and also CCS v.9.1; each time I switch using the XDS110 debug probe; it requires a firmware download to the programmer.

Is there a workaround for this?

This is definitely a pain. It should go away when UniFlash 5.2 comes out and picks up the latest XDS software.

Short term one thought would be to copy the newer XDS software from CCS into UniFlash.

The key folders to copy would be

/ccs/ccs_base/common/uscif to /uniflash_5.1.0/deskdb/content/TICloudAgent/win/ccs_base/common/uscif

/ccs/ccs_base/emulation to /uniflash_5.1.0/deskdb/content/TICloudAgent/win/ccs_base/emulation

I gave this a try and it worked ok for me.

Which version of UniFlash are you on?

For me with CCSv9.1 and UniFlash 5.1 I am not seeing the constant update. With 9.1 and 5.0 I do.

If you are on 5.0 then installing 5.1 might be the easiest option.

Hello John,

Says UniFlash 4.5.0.2056 - and when I checked update - it said no updates available.

I'll download v5.1 when I find it.
