CCS/TMS320C6727B: How do I get the GenBootCfg Utilities

I cannot locate the GenBootCfg Utilities mentioned in spraa69d - SM320C6727B Boot COnfig App Note.

The data sheet mentions that this tool is "attached" to the app note but it isn't.

Hi Mark,

Which device are you using TMS320C6727 or SM320C6727?

Also could you point the link to the appnote you refer to? I cannot locate it on the Technical Documents tab () in SM320C6727 product folder.

I am using the SM320C6727B. It is the radiation hardened version of the TMS320C6727B and I have been looking at documentation in both areas.

The document I referred to is SPRAA69D dated September 2009. The Bootloader utilities are discussed in Section 6 on page 17

Hi Mark,

You should see a link to the zip file under the Abstract at the very top of the document. Let me know if you don't see it. I'm attaching it below as well.

Once fully extracted, genBootCfg will be located in \sprc203\TMS320C672xxBootUtils\TMS320C672xxBootUtils\TMS320C672xxBootUtils\bootUtilities\utils\bin\

You will need to have Perl 5.8.4 or 5.8.6 installed on your machine to invoke genBootCfg from the command line, as mentioned in section 6.1 of Using the TMS320C672x Bootloader.
