My application is to read string "A to Z" from a python code on the PC. How can I do this ?

I don't quite understand what you are trying to do. Please provide more details on what exactly you need to do.

You want your application running on the F28379D to open a connection on the COM port of the device to read strings inside a python source file on a host PC?

If this is incorrect, (again) please provide exact details on what you wish to do. Be very verbose.

No this issue is not yet resolved, I have started working on other project. so it is not priority for time being.
