I kept getting Operation program returned with v3.4 of uniflash while trying to program a CC3100.

This is what resolved my issue. I hope it saves someone the hours I spent.

I found v3.2 on http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Category:CCS_UniFlash_Release_Notes_Archive, but that didn't immediately work. I had to go to Help>>Check For Updates and then install the update to v3.2.1 (but it said something like 1.0.....). That worked!
