Tool/software: Code Composer Studio
I upgraded CCS 9.1 under Debian linux 10.1 to 9.2 The upgrade changed the splash screen but the following now seem to try connecting to local host.
"CCS App Center"
"Resource Explorer"
I know this because after it first happened I fired up the application wireshark and I retried both of the applications, with them going to local host with the "Resource Explorer" continuously and "CCS App Center" for a few tried attempts then complaining it can't connect. It does not appear to be trying to connect to a TI website.
So is this a configuration issue? If yes where do I fix the location these two applications are trying to connect?
Thanks ahead of time.
Attached is the image of the CCS App Center.
I also attached the wireshark log.2019_1014_01_localhost.pcapng.7z
Hi Stephen,

Did you do an incremental update to CCSv9.1 that updated it to CCSv9.2.0? Or did you simply install a full 9.2 from scratch? I assume the former but I just want to be sure.
Thanks
ki
Hello,
I haven’t heard back from you, hence this issue is being closed. If you wish to continue the discussion, please post a reply with an update below (or create a new thread).
Thanks,

I incrementally updated 9.1 to 9.2, so yes.
I didn't receive a notice in email thus I apologize for being irresponsive to your query.
Stephen
I'll add I installed 9.1 2019-0716 (11:03 EST)
so I did not upgrade 9.0 to 9.1. Just to be clear.
I updated from 9.1 to 9.2 2019-1014 (16:47 EST).
If you need anything more let me know.
Can you check both App Center and Resource Explorer again?
I expect App Center to work (there was a server issue that we corrected for that). But I'm not sure if Resource Explorer will work for you.

I corrected the problem by redoing the desktop link and menu link in the system.
I deleted the old desktop icon and menu item then redid the menu item.
I set the path to to ~/ti/ccs910/ccs/eclipse/ccstudio
After that I ran CCS and this was the result (it works), I am not sure if the disk cache may have cached the old entry (unlikely as this would have been a problem for a bunch of other applications I had updated over the last few months).
