Compiler crash

Hi,

One of my customers are evaluating the Code Composer Studio Core Edition Version: 4.2.1.00004 to hopefully start using that in general at their company. They are very pleased except that there are big problems with BUILD since every other time the compiler crashes with the following message:

Is there anything to do to avoid this problem? Is there any later version or anything that is working better? (He uses Windows XP)

There is a long discussion about sporadic crashes when using the compiler at the forum thread below, but these were supposed to be fixed starting with release 3.3.0 of the cl430 compiler.

Therefore, if your customer is still seeing this issue in 3.3.1 that would require further investigation. Is his system Windows XP 32 or 64 bits? Also, does this issue happen with one of the TI provided example codes (ez430_chronos, ez43-RF2500, etc)? If not, could you ask him to send a test case that could reproduce this error so we would be able to investigate this?
