CCS/LAUNCHXL-CC1352P: SDK 3.30.00.03 Exampls complain about XDCtools 3.60.999 even with CCS 9.01.0004. (SDK3.20.00.68 worked fine)

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

When I try to import example projects from SimpleLink CC13x2 26x2 SDK - V 3.30.00.03 I receive this error:
"No XDCtools, equivalnet to the specified version '3.60.999', are available - defaulting to '3.55.0.11_core"

I have Code Composer Studio Version 9.01.0004 but see no way to install XDCtools 3.60.999. I'm not sure if doing so would be the solution.

The projects import but fail to compile with a message:
"Error: Configurable "$hardware" of "/ti/drivers/PIN" is of an unknown schema type"

The examples worked perfect when my resource explorer had SDK 3.20.00.68 but it seems to have automatically upgraded .

Hi Zackery,

The main issue here is that version 3.30 of the SDK requires CCS version 9.2.0 or greater. This is not documented (well).

CCS 9.2.0 also comes with XDCtools 3.60, so that will resolve the XDCtools compatibility warning.

Thank you for your prompt answer. This did the trick..

In a perfect world, I would have wished the SDK inside 9.01 hadn't been upgraded.

You can always use the package picker in Resource Explorer to explicitly choose a specific version of the SDK:
