KeystoneII AK2H DDR3B configuration for custom board test of all 2GBytes on DSP side

Hi experts.

We need to add a full memory test of our custom board.
The DDR3B used is 2Gbytes large and the alone application is running on Core0.
There is a way to test it?
Now I have done the test the firsts quarter of memory (0x60000000-0x7FFFFFFF).
I think is possible to do that using MPAX register, but in my test application we also test the DDR3A mapped from 0x80000000-0xFFFFFFFF (another 2G ARM's destinated memory bank).

Best regards,
Dario

  • Dario,

I don`t see a memory test in the PDK that covers this use case. However, you can look at the Memory access performance test that is located in the link below that was created by our field team for devices in the Keystone II family which doesn`t provide tests to checkout the DDR3A and DDR3B :

Keystone II CSL based SelfTest Kit

You can locate the package at the zip file attached at the bottom of the post. Let me know if you are having any issues locating the package.
