xds100v2 and CCS 4 licence

Hi,

When using xds100v2 JTAG emulator with code composer studio 4, does the licence limit CCS4 functionality in any way (code size, time limit etc) or can i use CCS4 features fully ?

I`m about to order blackhawk xds100v2d JTAG emulator and plan on using it on TMS320C2812 DSP based target board and i want to be sure that i can use CCS4 without limitations.

    Kauko,

    There is no code size limit or time limit when using the free XDS100 license.  Make sure to download the full DVD image and when you run CCS for the first time and the license dialog opens click on the "Use free limited license" button.  The limit in this case is limiting you to using an XDS100, simulator or onboard emulation.
