CCSv4.2 memory dumps

Target->Debug -> select Target tab -> Realtime Options -> check "Halt the target before any debugger access"

Selecting this option should allow you to do memory dumps (the menu options will no longer be greyed out).

When you were setting the breakpoints, did nothing happen? How were you setting the breakpoints (from the editor or breakpoint view)?

... it works fine for breakpoints but not for the memory dump. It let's you select to dump memory but nothing gets written to the file ....
