Hi,

I am using a eZdsp TMS320F28335 board and trying to run a hello world program. It worked fine for the first time and with new "run" i am getting this error "Error initializing emulator".

I have made sure the USB is connected and power supply is connected.

This is exactly the error i am getting

Error initializing emulator

I/O Port = 540

Board Name: F28335_eZdsp
Cpu Name: cpu_0

Abort: Close Code Composer Studio.
Retry: Try to initialize the emulator again.
Ignore: Ignore the initialization error and start
potentially without target debugging access.
Diagnostic: Run diagnostic utility.

On the pop up message "Diagnostic" option is disabled.

Can you please share your views on the same?

Harish,

I assume you are using the onboard emulation on the eZdsp board and not an external emulator. The first thing I would recommend checking is the troubleshooting guide from Spectrum Digital: http://support.spectrumdigital.com/guides/troubleshooting_guide/

If you continue to have problems, I would suggest contacting Spectrum Digital's support directly as they will be in a better position to assist here.

Hi,

I am using emulator. I have solved the problem by reinstalling the USB driver again and now I am able to connect the target.
