Hi,

chip : 66ak2g12

EVM: k2gEVMx

Tool: CCS v9.2

Os: win 10

i created a sample project and i can able to build succesfully that project but i dont know how i need to create SD card bootable image ( MLO, APP) .

i refernced the link in your webpage i couldn't get that could you please explain me some steps to create the bootable image and how i need to flash on my EVM.

Hi,

For creating the app file see:
http://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-rtos/esd/docs/latest/rtos/index_Foundational_Components.html#k2g

In order to build the mlo, execute the following steps:
cd ~/ti/pdk_k2g_<version>/packages/

source pdksetupenv.sh

make sbl

the MLO should be located in ~/ti/pdk_k2g_1_0_14/packages/ti/boot/sbl/binary/evmK2G/mmcsd/bin.

hi ,

As per your suggestion I created the MLO and APP image for the example SYS BIOS project in the CCS. I can't able to view the messages in the Serial port ( tera term).

could you please share me the code details for printing the messages in the UART.

Hi,

When I tried to boot the SD card that came along with the evaluation module containing files (MLO, u-boot.bin), I was able to verify the booting process from the output console on UART0.

But when I try to boot with my own image built from SYSBIOS from example project error.c, for the ARM core, I could not see any output on the console.

But when I try to repeat the same steps for DSP core, the image booted successfully and I can see the output on the console.

So could you please let me know if I am missing any steps. It would be great if you could share any procedural steps to boot the SYSBIOS for the ARM core.

Hi,

Have you tried adding the LIMIT_BOARDS="evmK2G" LIMIT_SOCS="k2g" LIMIT_CORES="a15_0" options in your build?
