CCS/EK-TM4C1294XL: How to build a Bootloader & firmware for end user application

I need to know how the bootloader & firmware can built and stored to external flash memory so any of them can be updated @ end user filed without need to use again the JTAG programmer.

if there is a pre-made example for both it will be great.

There is a bootloader in the device ROM memory and there are example bootloaders that can be programmed into the internal flash. We have bootloaders that load from the UART, SSI (SPI), I2C, Ethernet and CAN. I am not aware of one that loads from the EPI (external peripheral interface). How do you intended to interface the external flash to the TM4C? The source code for these bootloaders is provided in the TivaWare library so that you may customize it for your use case.

Thank you Bob for your response but the pdf file you have attached it's link is explaining only Using TM4C12x Devices Over JTAG Interface but i need a very detailed explanations a bout the bootloaders operation / mechanism and how to make customized one because the examples don't have enough explanations.
