CCSv4: does console support backspace?

Hi

Does the CCSv4 console window support backspace "\b" - i.e. printf("\b"). If not, is there a way to backspace?

    The v4 console does not support any formatting or control characters except for newline. I don't know of a way to create a backspace. The only way to work around this would be to format the complete string before printing.
