how is DSP programd password ?

I have find in the CCS4,it has a new function:programm password.Does it mean to lock the DSP or lock the external flash?If the flash is locked,does the flash can be read by DSP?

if I want to protect my codes in flash from being copy or download by unauthorized user, what shold I do?Could you give me some suggestions?

The menu"【Toos | On-Chip Flash】",then a window will be shown, a button is "Program Password".(I read it on a document,I didn't install CCS v4.x software).

If I want to do as I had asked,what should I do?Thank you.

The password is a feature of C2000 DSPs. When set, it prevents access to internal flash from a debugger. The DSP program will still run as expected, but the memory will not be accessible from a debugger. Setting the password will prevent an unauthorized person from being able to view and copy the contents of internal flash.
