hi,

i am new to CCS trying to run some sample hello world program in CCS4 arm omap3530 board with XDSv2 usb emulator.

i am getting the below error while running it debug window..

ARM9_0: Warning: 0x40000220/-2062 @ marker 13500 Warning during: Execution, OCS, Cannot halt the processor

how to resolve or what it means... please let me know how to proceed.. thanks ...

Hi,

Which board are you trying to run? if you are using the OMAP3530EVM, make sure that SW1-1 is ON so you can enable emulation access to the card.

If you are trying to use Beagleboard, depending on the version you may need to let Uboot run until Autostop and connect to the board without a GEL file.

Thank you very much Rafeal...

Currently i cant access the board i will check it later mean time i want Cortex-A8 gel file for Tisimulator i cant find it on target config window..

Prabhu,

Unfortunately we don't have a CortexA8 simulator available.

For the board, CCSv4 also allows you to have deeper insight to what may be happening using the ICEPICK module. Check the short video clip called Using ICEPICK in the page below:
