CCS2.20 Installation

Dear. all,

Please let me ask you for obsolete tool, CCS2.20.

I've been trying to install CCS2.20 onto Windows XP SR3, but couldn't be succeeded yet.

Because the installer seems to be too old, the installation process would be aborted whenever it's tried.

I could do it on the Windows XP SR2 in the past. Does somebody know the way to accomplish it with SR3?

Kuni,

If you run the installer in WinNT or Win95 compatibility mode does it help? If you right click on the executable for the installer and select properties, Windows should allow you to run it in compatibility mode.

Does the installation fail right away or part way through?

Another suggestion is to try installing CCS while Windows is started in "Safe Mode".

The installation process is hung up when it tries to display a dialog of license agreement.

Usually if we click "agree" on terms and conditions, the installation process will proceed.

But the dialog box itself is not able to be displayed in my case.

Anyway, your way seems to be easiler to do. I'll try it.

Yes, both of suggestions I got is to use compatibility mode.
