CCS/TMS320C6678: Metadata cannot be interpreted while importing a project in CCS 5.3.0

Hai,

Iam a newbie to CCS. I have to import a project into my CCS workspace but facing this meta-data interpretation issue while importing. I tried with another sample project and i could able to import successfully. 

please help me to resolve this issue.

    Hi Kartik,

    This project was created with a much newer version of CCS - version 8.3.

    While newer CCS versions can support older project formats, there is no guarantee for the reverse.

    I suggest updating your CCS version.

    Note that there are other dependencies - TI compiler 8.2.x and SYS/BIOS 6.75.02. Make sure you have those versions (or close to it) installed also.
