CCS 3.3 and dsk c6713

Hi Sir

I am using dsk c6713 and ccs 3.3. I am trying to integrate ccs with matlab 7.5 through simulink. But after completion of build process the following error comes.

rtdx target application does not match emulation protocol!

loaded program was created with an rtdx library which does not match the target device.

I am trying a lot with different trial and error method but all are null and void. Please help me in this regard.

  • Are you communicating with the DSK via a JTAG emulator? If so, make sure that RTDX is set up for JTAG mode rather than simulator. Please check this related post:

  • Hi

I am using dsk c6713 and ccs 3.3. I am trying to integrate ccs with matlab201010.b  through simulink. But after completion of build process the loading does not completed and gives error regarding endianness that is does not match target endianness, not loaded. i have selected little endian in setup as well as in build options.

    Please help me.

  • in set up u select endiness option all.... try with this n if u get verify answer

  • I am having precisely the same problem w/ C6713 and V3.3.

I have the Spectrum Digital eval board endian dip switch set to little.

I have the cc build options on little.

When I change the board dip switch to big, the diagnostic no longer runs (it's presumably little)

POST fails, as well, if big endian chosen (sw 3.1 = on)

When I change cc build to big, I no longer generate an .out file.

What is endianness option "all"? I see only the expected binary choice of big vs little.

EDIT: I closed cc, removed power and USB from the board, fired everything up afresh, and now it works on "timer" and "edma" demo projects. I made no other changes, and I have both the board and the setup on little endian, which evidently is correct. It would be nice to understand what is happening here ...
