Is the thickness of the plate in the impedance stacking structure of product 01012 fixed? Is there any impedance information for them?

Can the thickness of the board be adjusted when the board is made, and is impedance matching required?

How is 01012 surface treatment done?

Hi user6010015,

We achieve about 50 ohm GCPW lines on the layer 1 and layer 2, with the 5 mil RO3003 substrate. As described in the included stack-up table, overall layer 1 thickness (after all plating) is at 1.6 mils. This includes the base copper, plating for via planarization and the immersion silver finish.

Where else needs impedance matching? Does the impedance of the differential Pair need to be done? Can the line width and spacing of the impedance be provided?

Hi,

The only other strictly impedance controlled nets are for the CSI2 MIPI D-PHY differential pairs. Each differential line can be achieved as two 50-ohm single-ended lines (takes up more space, but easier to route around connectors and still maintain differential pair skew match), or as a more compact, more tightly coupled differential pair.
