CCS/CCSTUDIO: CCS v9.2.0 keep giving "CrashReportJob" error in every startup

Part Number: CCSTUDIO

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi,team:

I installed CCS9.2.0 on windows 7 64-bit. Everytime I start it up, it gives an error popup that 'CrashReportJob' has an error.

I have reinstalled CCS but getting same error again and again... while installing CCS no warnings and no errors message I got received.....

I found one similar question in E2E™ support forums , downlaod the new 2005 and 2012 msvc redistributables (32 bit versions)  from the link and install them, but it can't resolve the error.

As mentioned in other forum threads, 'CrashReportJob' is a utility that runs when CCS starts up and looks for error logs that were created in cases where CCS crashes.

As you found, one cause of the error is that the Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable packages failed to install correctly. But it appears that is not the reason in your case as you have already tried reinstalling it. However, if you would still like us to confirm that it is not due to the MSVC redistributables, you may zip up the contents of the /install_logs folder in your CCS installation and attach it here for us to look at.

In general it is fine to just click OK on the CrashReportJob dialog and continue using CCS. Are you able to do that and continue using CCS? Also try using a new workspace.
