When a problem occurs in the program and then system restart will be generated in in document SLAU506 8.1 WDT_A Introduction.

Is it a cold reset or software reset?

Hello Chen,

the WDT is issuing a PUC.

Please see the Figure 1-5 (page 24) in the document SLAU506. This state-diagram will show in more detail what the different resets will do.
