Hello, 

I am having almost the same issue, but just want to see if your solution will fix my problem. 

How to change the workspace path?  I tried to "Switch to a newer workspace"  but CCS doesn't open with the newer workspace prompting that - "<the particular directory> is read-only"

P.S.- <particular directory> was created in the C;/User/ " path just because my <username> directory has spaces in the path. 

Kindly give a detailed description of how to proceed.

    As I indicated in your other post, the workspace does not have to be inside C:/User/<Username>. It can be any directory, such as C:/ccs_v9_workspace.
