CCS/LAUNCHXL-CC1310: Active project keeps jumping to other similar project

Hi 

I am having an issue where my currently selected project (active-debug) is not staying as active when I hit debug instead it keeps jumping to the other project from which I made a copy of this project. However, this wasn't a problem but after some time it appeared out of nowhere and it's annoying. I tried removing the unnecessary launch configurations and renaming the projects but still everything in vain.

Does anyone faced this in the past and have a solution?

    What symptoms do you observe that indicate the Active project is not the one being debugged? Could you show some screenshots that demonstrate the unexpected behavior? And which version of CCS are you using?

    In addition to deleting the debug launch configuration, could you also try deleting the .launch and target cache files as described in sections 9.7.4 and 9.7.5 of this page: http://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/users_guide/ccs_troubleshooting.html#debug
