what is the latest code gen tool version of CCS3.3?

Hi,

I wonder if the CCS3.3 code gen tool for C2000 is still being updated and what might be the latest version? Comparing the code generated from CCS4.2 or CCS3.3, if I use the same code generation tool version, am I getting the same image .out file? If not, what else do I need to update in the 3.3 to keep the code generated identical to that from a latest CCS4?

Leong,

The output file is independent of the IDE version, therefore if using the same code generation tools and the same project options you should obtain a functionally identical output file (the only difference are timestamps).

The latest code generation tool available for CCSv3.3 is available in the Update Advisor page (menu Help --> Update Advisor --> Check for Updates)

Thank you Rafael,

the CCS3.3 service update gives me 5.2.9 which is the same as the latest CCS4 contains. So I guess I'm up to date on the code.

Using the command "Check for Updates" from CCSv3.3 "Help" menu I reach the "Update Advisor" web page, that shows the table I attach, but when I click the green button with "install" written on, I get the error "Page not exixtent".
