Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM3S8962
I am using CCS version 4.2.1.00004 running on Windows 7. The debugger is set for "Stellaris In-Circuit Debug Interface_0/CORTEX_M3_0 [CORTEX_M3]". The system is connected to a LM3S8962 evaluation board.
It seems the more I download to the eval board the less stable CCS becomes. When CCS first starts I can download to the target and it only takes a few seconds and all is well. After modifying the source and clicking Yes to :
The file may or may not download. Sometimes I can click the Debug icon and the file will download. Othertimes I need to close CCS and start it again.
Often, CCS will not close. Looking at the progress details it seems to be hung up on "Terminating the Debug Session". If I click the Red Cancel box. CCS closes and I can restart it. At this point, it works for a few downloads and then the problems begin again. Sometimes I have to End Program through task manager.
Is this a compatiblity issue with Windows 7? Any other ideas?
