Environment variables is Blank, Macros dialog is blank.

I'm trying to change macros as described in this other post: http://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/code_composer_studio/f/81/p/3170/10985.aspx#10985

However, the dialog boxes are totally blank which differs from most documentation I've seen. (see below)

I suspect that this is due to running on Win7 (CCS Version: 4.2.1.00004) , with the dialog issue, but I've already followed the patch suggestions found here: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/FAQ_-_CCSv4#Q:_Does_CCS_support_64bit_Operating_Systems.3F which generally solved most of my problems after I installed the patch files.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

Unfortunately the drawing issues withe the macros tab is not resolved with the patch. See the below thread for more details and possible workarounds:

Okay, thanks. I'd done a bit of searching but always using the term "blank" and didn't find that other post.

I note that the project (an example project from usbdev for C674x) has a macros.ini file. Might this be an additional workaround? Shouldn't there be a way to edit these things manually in some sort of xml file?
