CCS/TMS320F28379D: CCS9.3 can not access App Center server

Hi,

I installed CCS 9.3 for TIEVM-VIENNARECT eval board, planned to use F28379D control card with it. while following the firmware set up process I stuck at the first step. After clicking the "CCS App Center" under view, the new tab popped up and gave me a message saying "cannot access the app center server". I installed it in two of my office computers, both running windows 10 64bit, they had the same problem. Need your help to solve this.

Hi Sam,

have you seen the troubleshooting section on App Center?

Please check your proxy/firewall settings. Can you access Resource Explorer?

What are you trying to access from App Center? Is it the GUI Composer v1 Runtime?

Thanks for your reply, Ki. I did read the troubleshooting you linked, and tried it and few other things found in this e2e forum. Nothing worked. I also tried to use a public wifi connection to by pass the firewall of our company, it didn't work either. what is the resource explorer you mentioned? do you have a link? the reason I am trying to get access to the App center is to make sure I have GUI composer installed, as instructed by the firmware setup process specified in the eval board I bought, TIEVM-VIENNARECT and TMS320F28379D.

ok, you likely need the GUI Composer v1 runtime from App Center. If we cannot get App Center to work, I can provide your with a separate download. Please start a private conversation with me for more details.
