Compiler/TMS320VC33: C Compiler needed for Windows 7 or 10

Hi,

I currently use the CC compiler version 4.10.37 ( yes, very old!! ) to compile my C code written for the above-mentioned processor. I have been able to create the executable under Windows XP. Questions:

1) Will this old compiler be able to generate the same executable under Windows 7 or 10?

2) If it does not (as I suspect), is there a newer version that can work with Windows 7 or 10?

I cannot find that old release in our archives. So, I cannot try it. I very much doubt it would work on recent Windows systems.

The last release of the C30 compiler is version 5.13. It does work on Windows 10. Are you interested in it?

Thank you, George, for the info and for your prompt help.

Could you please identify the CCS version that contains the C30 compiler version 5.13? I have searched through the various CCS downloads and been unable to locate this exact compiler version. Once found, I wonder if that would still be a free download...

The C30 compiler is no longer part of CCS.

No public download is available. I'll contact you privately.
