CCS: TMS320C33, CCS upgrade from windows XP to Windows 10

Hello,

Greetings for the day..!

We have a question on Code Composer studio and the details are below

Currently we are using TMS320C33 device with windows XP environment with following IDE and Compilers.

Compiler : TMS320C33 Code Composer v4.10

IDE Code Composer Studio : Code Composer C3x/C4x v4.10.xx

Emulator : SIGNUM Emulator/JTAGjet-VC33

We want to upgrade the windows environment to Windows 10,Requesting you to suggest the Code Composer compiler and IDE to use in Windows 10 environment and also suggest the Emulator to use for the same requirement.

Code Composer v4.10 for C3x/4x is very old. This product is not supported on Windows 10. You could try running a 32bit Windows XP VM on Windows 10. I would continue using the Signum JTAGjet-VC33 in that environment.

Thanks for your quick reply and support on the query.

We will try running a 32 bit Windows XP VM on Windows 10.

In Parallel we need to know that, is there any latest version of CCS available, where it can support TMS320C33 in windows 10 environment?

Code Composer v4.1 was the last version to support VC33. That was released 19 years ago. Code Composer v4.1 was released long before Windows 10 or even Windows 7 and is not supported in those environments.
