CCS: CCS 5.5

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

TI has an automotive tier 1 that has a CCS on a server, they are migrating all software licenses to a new server however still have some older projects using CCS 5.5 and earlier which requires a license for CCS. Who can I put our local IS in contact with to get a new license file issued which will work on the new server?

Steve,

There is no need to continue using a license server. When we stopped using license management a few years ago we made special license files available for older versions of CCS. The license file is available on the CCS download page.

Basically it is a special license file that works on any machine. You just drop it into CCS running on each machine and no longer have to use the license server.
