CCS/TMS570LC4357: Use linker to calculate CRC32 and append to ELF

I've read section 8 ("Linker Description") of the ARM Assembly Language Tools v19.6.0.STS User's Guide quite a few times now but I can't find a way to do what I'm looking for.

I'd like to append the CRC32 checksum of the final binary at the end of said file. Not just individual sections. Can I achieve this without manual labour? How?

    ... is not supported by the CRC feature built-in to the linker.  You can only apply it to individual output sections.
