Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I am having trouble installing Code Composer Studio 9.3.0 (I have the same issue with 9.2.0 and 9.1.0). I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit operating system and I am trying to install the SimpleLink MSP432 and SimpleLink CC13XX and CC26XX components. Toward the end of the installation I get this:

Retrying always produces the same response. That can I do to resolve this issue?

Your image didn't upload, can you try again? Also, please zip up the contents of <installdir>/ccs/install_logs and upload here.

Hi Kevin,

Could you please check the folder %TEMP% for any bitrock*.log files and zip up and attach here? It looks like one of the component installers is crashing, so the logs aren't in the usual place.

Hi Kevin,

I'm not sure what caused the initial error - the logs indicate that you ran the installer again after sending the logs, so logfiles may have been removed or the component installer crashed before writing any logs.

I see that the installer is unable to cleanup after the aborted install. Could you remove c:\ti\ccs930\ccs completely and try again? Also, please remove any bitrock*.log files in the %TEMP% folder. If it fails again, please send me the new logs generated in the install_logs folder and the %TEMP% folder.

It won’t let me delete:

Kevin,

I think you'll need to reboot the machine in order to kill off whatever's got a hold of those files. Otherwise, you can install in another folder, and delete that directory after the next reboot.
