How do I connect an LCD Display to TMS750LC4357, for example to display the temperature from a sensor???

Hello,

Some of the TFT LCDs have SPI, RGB interfaces. You can use SPI or MibSPI of TMS570LC43x to interface your LCD, if your LCD supports SPI.

This LCD is good for TMS570LC4357?

But I don't know how to connect pins to launchpad.

Hello,

TMS570LC4357 has two I2C modules, so this device can be used to interface with this LCD through I2C.

The I2C signals (SDA, and SCL) are on J2 connector of Launchpad.

1. I2C1_SDA: pin 8

2. I2C1_SCL: pin 9

SDA from LCD is connected to SDA from Launchpad and SCL from LCD is connected to SCL from Launchpad? ?

But what is the code structure that I have to use?

Hello,

Both SDA and SCL pins must be connected to a positive supply voltage (3.3V) through a pull-up resistor. When the bus is free, both pins are high. I am sorry I don't know the data format required by the LCD. The LCD datasheet should contain the detailed information for I2C communication.
